I mean, if he's your family, he's probably amazing. I love that he had a special job. I post recipes sometimes (if they are my own recipes), but if the recipes are from cookbooks that are still out on the market, I usually just say the name of the recipe and the name of the book it's from. This helps support all my friends who are cookbook authors! :)Ameyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00291071425858947632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32492687.post-32312911263659289832013-09-24T09:54:22.883-07:002013-09-24T09:54:22.883-07:00I love Mexican food, too, though I can see I don&#...I love Mexican food, too, though I can see I don't love it as much as you. ;) But I especially love guacamole. I have a favorite recipe that I got from my friend Claire. The problem here is that I don't always have avocados on hand and it's almost impossible to find them ripe when I need the guac. I used to have avocados around all the time but I think I may have eaten too many, and then I couldn't even look at them without feeling queasy. I may be just about ready to start having them in the house again. What makes her guac skills such a big deal is that she claims to hate the stuff - yet she taste tests it as she makes it, and always gets it right. Either she secretly likes it and doesn't want to let on, or she likes dirtying about five or six spoons from all of her taste testing. Either way, I'm glad it's already family tradition (she's only 6 1/2) that she's in charge of the guac!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32492687.post-86107597155399168012013-09-24T08:29:09.213-07:002013-09-24T08:29:09.213-07:00Ha!
