It's way better than the corn syrupy kind you find at restaurants. And though very simple, I love the cucumber salad with peanuts and chile in the summer. I could eat it every day! I'll be trying that vindaloo though - I don't think I've ever had it before! And I know you don't like sushi, but the edamame dip is really good in nori rolls.Jake and Alanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05350741002572315231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32492687.post-9986861043722661612013-04-30T15:46:46.097-07:002013-04-30T15:46:46.097-07:00I LOVE that cookbook and the tofu in tomato cream ...I LOVE that cookbook and the tofu in tomato cream sauce is my absolute favorite recipe from it! I bought them at some point after admiring all of Kittee's rice papery creations, and then forgot about them in the lazy susan. That vindaloo sounds so good, and I especially like your tofu substitution. (Tempeh is okay on occasion, but I'm much more of a tofu fan.) I'm going to brush up on my Shakespeare, so that I can recreate Mr. VE&T's soliloquy! ;)Cadry's Kitchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05019006252875213755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32492687.post-79561037185467127142013-04-23T06:03:02.882-07:002013-04-23T06:03:02.882-07:00i love eastern flavors, these all look so good!i love eastern flavors, these all look so good!JFloColmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03857807332082627540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32492687.post-61724048256066315102013-04-23T04:32:48.483-07:002013-04-23T04:32:48.483-07:00Haha, I love the illustrations of Mr VE&T!
