I never had the guts to act on them though. I'm so impressed with your 5th grade self.

I'm also very strict about only buying fair trade chocolate, and I didn't know that about organic. That is very good to know since organic is sometimes easier to come by than fair trade :) House Veganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13916597521499439629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32492687.post-33405897590339373172015-02-11T01:54:36.342-08:002015-02-11T01:54:36.342-08:00What a brave little 5th grader you were! I bought a little Valentines teddy bear for my high school boyfriend, but he decided to break up with me right before V-day, so I kept it. And occasionally punched it. I'm not a huge chocolate fan (I always feel guilty admitting that, because it seems to be an across the board winner for most people), but those do look delicious. The quinoa puffs bark looks particularly tempting! I might have to try and knock some of that up myself ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32492687.post-21136229297436046302015-02-10T13:23:14.844-08:002015-02-10T13:23:14.844-08:00[ Smiles ] Oh my goodness, I felt your pain while ...[ Smiles ] Oh my goodness, I felt your pain while you told that sad story.

On a bright note, there is always vegan chocolate to indulge in.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09335177347704304529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32492687.post-55660691620923630412015-02-10T08:31:20.689-08:002015-02-10T08:31:20.689-08:00Unrequited love, story of my younger self! I stood back from it, seeing the boxes stuffed with cards and others airy, almost empty. We adopted our dog on Valentines Day so arbitrarily celebrate it as her birthday and spoil the old lady ;) Interesting tip on organic chocolates - I always go for fair trade too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32492687.post-25960606336431396542015-02-10T03:57:53.643-08:002015-02-10T03:57:53.643-08:00Awww, Amey, such a cute story! Before Nick was vegan I refused to share the super fun chocolate treats with him too because he could totally go out and get cheapo dairy milk whenever he wanted - now I share which is both good and bad! vegan.in.brightonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08022017381983993283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32492687.post-58827858915255972192015-02-09T19:56:05.999-08:002015-02-09T19:56:05.999-08:00Great story, and I'm impressed with your chutz...Great story, and I'm impressed with your chutzpa at making the first move, even though it didn't work out. Funny how the quinoa bark seems to have been everyone's favorite. I keep mine hidden, though I do share the rest. :) Wonderful review — I think they should send you another box!Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16146578985330272891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32492687.post-9147101646603930432015-02-09T16:40:50.469-08:002015-02-09T16:40:50.469-08:00Ooooh, harsh! If you need a flashback, I've got our 5th grade class picture on Facebook :)Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11355896044807479172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32492687.post-69795737680188344132015-02-09T12:16:26.877-08:002015-02-09T12:16:26.877-08:00Ah, young love. All just part of the collective Life Experience that's made you such a considerate and wonderful person. So glad you finally found the right person to share your chocolates with! That's sad that you kept your chocolates in the freezer, because you were so disappointed. On the plus side, at least you found out about the Jason + Melinda affair before revealing your feelings.
