Broccoli Pasta

Hi Everyone,
Sorry I didn't get this up yesterday, I was having a heck of a time connecting to Blogger. Also, I finally responded to your comments this morning, for the same reason.

Tonight I made "Whole Wheat Pasta with Broccoli" from Deborah Madison's "Suppers" book. It's a nice recipe - broccoli, pine nuts, green olives, carmelized onions... very tasty. I also made a huge heap of sauteed chard for us.

You can see that my cat Yummers really loves his veggies. Some of his favorites are corn, asparagus, green beans and broccoli. Whenever we are eating one of those, he goes absolutely NUTS, meowing like a crazy-pants until we give him some. It's very cute. He also loves fresh mango, and most dried fruit. Go figure!

Also, don't forget my Trader Joes Holiday Giveaway, open until December 15th!

:)

Yummers is so cute. Bijou and Marble want to know how he learned to love vegetables, since they don't like anything but their own food. Meow!

  4. I don't really know why yummy likes his veggies so much - he just came that way! When we are cooking veggies in the kitchen, he gets all antsy and stands in the kitchen yelling meows at me until I share some with him! :)
