Hanging with Kittee!

wooo hooo!
Here I am in New Orleans... grooving on 5 hours of yoga philosophy a day, and lots of hang out time with the wonderful and awesome Kittee! I was super excited to meet Kittee, after years of reading her blog, and I was even more super excited when I found out how cool she is!

The first night we met, we went out to a great spot called "Lebanon's Cafe" with us two and Dazee, her husband. Lebanese food, if it wasn't obvious. I had a delicious bowl of lentil soup, we had a plate of olives and pickles, 2 delicious and tasty eggplant dips, Kittee had some fatoush, and Dazee had some stuffed grape leaves. It was super fun, and I was psyched that Kittee is so rad. I ran home and emailed Musty all about it!

Last night I went over to their house and she very kindly fed me dinner - sweet potato chili with peanut butter, and stuffed tofu pockets. mmmmmy! Also I got to hang out with her super cutey dog Vee. He is really cute, but also has some social issues, so I got to give him lots of veggie hot dog pieces so he'd like me. It seems like it went pretty well!

She also set me up with my own copy of Papa Tofu (weee heee!) and a bottle of my very own local New Orleans Root Beer Extract! Yippee. As soon as I home, I am going to make Hannah's Root Beer Cupcakes. I have wanted to make those for a long time!

Yes, we are having fun together. We are going to make vegan king cakes! Tomorrow Kittee Mom is coming to town, so I will get to meet her too! We will go see George the grocer!

Three Cheers for Kittee!
