Annual Cookbooklette Giveaway + Cookie Recipe!

Friends!

It's that magical time of the year... when I do my annual holiday cookbooklette giveaway! Every holiday season, I make a little homemade zine featuring some of my favorite recipes from that year. (Here is a link  with instructions on how to make your own) Every year, I give these to my family, my friends, my yoga students, AND 30 lucky bloggie winners! This contest is open to everyone all around the world (except people who forget to leave an email or blog contact in their comment!)

This year's excellent edition is called Yum Town
and that is where you will be headed if you win a copy!

Also! This year, the zine features a brand new recipe from yours truly, which I am very proud of: Spiced Fig & Marmalade Cookies
Most of the recipes in the cookbooklette are not actually mine, they're recipes from other people's cookbooks that I've fallen in love with. But, this cookie recipe is one I came up with - based on the flavors of one of my favorite Italian desserts called panforte. I took the spices and flavors of panforte, and put them into this delicious cookie. Let me know if you make them, and if you like them! :) I'm so proud of my recipe baby!

Here's the recipe ~ straight from the cookbooklette, so you get a sneak preview!

So, to enter - leave a comment on this post, and make sure to leave an email address if I can't contact you through your blog. I'll pick the winners one week from today, on Wednesday December 19th. Good luck!

  2. Hooray! Consider my last comment on one of your old zine giveaways a trial run. I should have it down perfectly by now! ;)

I received a zine of yours waaaaay back when the Vegan Freaks board was still popular, and you offered them there. I didn't even know your wonderful blog back then, but I totally fell in love with all of your adorable drawings and favorite recipes. Crossing my fingers I win again!

Your cookies sound so delicious and perfectly seasonal!

This is a great idea; love to make a zine for my non-vegan friends (if they can be called friends!) because they seem to like the vegan food they eat. Love to get Yum Town as well; thanks for the chance! (cbcdogs at yahoo)
