Today is my little nephew CW's 8th birthday! A couple of days ago, my sister-in-law called and told me that she and CW had been watching some reality show called "Dream Wedding Cakes" or some such... and that he had decided that he wanted a 3-dimensional baseball on his (vanilla) birthday cake. His wish is my command!
This is the top view...
And this shows you a bit of the 3-D effect. I made a triple batch of the "Golden Vanilla Cupcakes" from "Vegan Cupcakes Take Over The World" and made a big sheet cake plus 4 very round and full cupcakes. Inside, it's just a basic vanilla cake... as per the royal birthday boy's request.
I leave you with this precious gem. I was unaware of this song before meeting Musty, but now he sings it to me every time I make a cake.
