In honor of Dia De Los Muertos, I made some chocolate-cinnamon skeleton cookies... using my gingerbread man cookie cutter, and easily repurposed with some white frosting.
Some are straightforward skeletons, some have red hearts, and some have sneaky little devil horns.

These are so cute! What a great idea.
Those cookies are adorable! You are very artistic.
Those skeleton cookies are absolutely the most clever idea I've ever, ever seen! I can't wait until next Halloween to make some.
Oh wow, I absolutely love them! Well done!
Thanks so much for your advice. The family that I am staying with is aware of my vegan diet and I love to cook, so I think I will be okay. And, yes, I know it's not the end of the world if I need to eat something that isn't vegan. But...I am keeping my fingers crossed that it all works out. I have looked at happycow and it looks like there are a lot of nice veggie friendly places in Buenos Aires, so hopefully I can visit them!
I love the way your cookies turned out.
So cute! Love these!

Your muertitos are awesome.
I wonder what other cookie cutter shapes can be "skeletized" with the right placement of icing.
