I got lucky, because my mom is super awesome. I love her for so many reasons, and now I have another great reason to love her even more: these excellent cookie cutters! One of her little hobbies is cruising the thrift stores. She's really good at it too. Sometimes I'll put in a request ("I need a new pitcher") - and soon enough she'll find it for me. My kitchen is filled with goodies she's found at the thrift store: utensils, serving dishes, regular dishes, an ice cream maker, and even my awesomely perfect waffle iron. Seriously!
So, this week, she found this totally cool and super adorable unopened set of IKEA cookie cutters! Of course, I already have a million cookie cutters, but - amazingly - none of these are repeats. They are all Swedish woodland creatures: a foxy fox, a pokey hedgehog, a little bear cub, a friendly snail, a giant moose (giant cookies!), and a perky little squirrel with pointy ears. I love them so much, and now I just gotta find an excuse to make a big batch of cookies. They will be so fun to decorate.
aww, so cute!! Love the snail!
