THERE IS AN ANSWER,
and I have found it.
Earth Balance recently sent me a giant box of snacky goodness that is just about the coolest thing I've ever received in the mail.
The evening that the package arrived, my mom was over. We opened it up and immediately we all agreed that there was a moral imperative to open those PB Popps. HELLO FRIEND. These are sort of like Cracker Jacks on peanut butter steroids - they're peanuts and popcorn coated in sugary peanut butter and oat combo. Seriously, they are very, very delicious. I love them very much.
I didn't get pictures of these two: White Cheddar Puffs & Buttery Popcorn, but they were both super yum. We busted them open on SuperBowl Sunday for some Super Snacking. The buttery popcorn is pretty much what you'd expect: delicious, buttery popcorn that is vegan! And the Cheese Puffs were totally new: HUGE puffed goodies covered in cheesy powder. Fun to crunch and munch.
But my favorite of all the different savory snacks was definitely the Aged White Cheddar Popcorn. So super tasty! I've been counting calories and watching my weight for about 5 months now, and I love that I can have almost 3 cups of this cheezy goodness and it's only 150 calories! That's pretty great for a naughty snack food. You can't see the white cheddar flavor crystals that are generously coating this popcorn, but trust me when I tell you that it's there, and it's good. This is definitely a high quality snack treat! Also, I closed up the bag with a chip clip, and they didn't seem to get stale... even after 3-4 days.

By the way, Mr. Yummers is NUTS for these snacks. He goes running around the house chasing us and meowing like a demon until we give him some. You can see that even as I was taking pictures, he jumped on the chair and was trying to tell me just how much he needed cheezy popcorns! MEOW!

ReplyDeleteAw, that's so cute that Yummers wanted to get in on the snacking options! Our kitties do the same thing. They just love treats. Glad to know about these tasty snacks!
ReplyDeleteI recently tried the white cheddar puffs...they reminded me so much of the "smart food" of my childhood. I was actually quite impressed when I read the ingredient list. Such a fantastic treat.
